Order FAQ

1. The designs are proprietory. How will you protect the intellectual property?

We sign NDA with you as soon as you confirm the order. Similarly, we have NDAs in place with our vendors for the same. 2. What are Payment Terms and Purchase Order Terms?

Payment terms are 100% advance payment after confirming the order. You can either pay via Razorpay (details provided in the order form) or directly make payment to our bank. ​If your company needs a Proforma Invoice to raise Purchase Order, drop an email at projects@sattardas.com and we'll work with you to raise Proforma Invoice and fulfil your project.

3. What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

We have no minimum order quantity. Whether you need a single prototype or thousands of parts, we can help.

4. What is the standard lead time?

Standard lead time is 15 working days. Lead times may vary based on part complexity and quantity. We will communicate the lead time to you once we receive the order if there are any delays.

5. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide via Delhivery and FedEx. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location and service level selected. Please note that our coverage as of now is limited to the delivery locations of Delhivery or FedEx.

6. What are your shipping terms?

We provide DAP (Delivered At Place) shipping terms.

7. What is your return policy?

Since the parts are manufactured per your specific designs, we do not offer refund or cancellation of the order. In the unlikely case, that the manufactured part doesn't meet the quality and tolerance conformance please drop an email at projects@sattardas.com. Please share your order number and any proof you may have of the non-conformance and/or defect. If the non-conformance is detected, we'll replace the part with a new one at no additional cost to you.

8. What is tax policy?

Operating from India, we are liable to pay 18% GST taxes. All the invoices created are compliant to that. We are not yet compliant with any other country's tax policies. ​For order originating from countries other than India, the customer may have to pay local customs and or import tax as applicable for your country. The customer will be 100% liable to pay the necessary taxes for their country.

9. The material we require is not listed. Can you arrange for it?

We can arrange for any material upon request. Please drop an email at projects@sattardas.com and we'll be happy to assist you with the technical details.

1. How is the cost calculated?

The cost is calculated based on the material, complexity of the part, quantity, and the machining parameters. We leverage our proprietory tool with advanced algorithms to determine the cost.

2. Is the material cost included in the quote?

Yes, the material cost is included in the quote.

3. What about tooling, jigs and fixtures cost?

Yes, the cost of tooling, jigs and fixtures is included in the quote.

4. Can I ship material to you?

Yes, you may ship material to us incase of rare earth or not readily available materials. Please drop an email at projects@sattardas.com and we'll be happy to assist you with the technical details.

5. Do you provide any chemical composition test for selected material?

Yes, we provide chemical composition test for selected material. Please drop an email at projects@sattardas.com and we'll be happy to assist you with it.

6. What is the inspection policy?

We have a 100% inspection policy. We will inspect the part before shipping to ensure it meets the quality and tolerance conformance.
